Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jim Jimm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hakuna Matata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hakuna Matata will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jim Jimm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hakuna Matata! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Santiago Holmes and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jimm walks forward, straight into a front kick from Matata. Matata closes the distance and clinches. Matata lands an elbow inside that Jimm shrugs off.
It looks like Jim Jimm has been cut. Matata pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Matata gets a clinch. Matata manages to break the clinch.
Matata drives through and clinches with Jimm against the cage.
Jimm tries to pull guard but Matata holds him up against the cage and eventually Jimm drops back down to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knees to the body from Matata.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Matata obliges. Jimm tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Matata smiles and moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jimm moves into range and clinches up with Matata. Matata breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Matata has managed to clinch.
Nice elbow from Matata. Matata has Jimm pushed against the cage. Matata stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Matata utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Jimm is breathing heavily. Jimm has had enough of the clinch but Matata keeps him there for the moment. Jimm is trying to break the clinch but Matata is controlling him. Jimm could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Matata is working Jimm over against the cage. Matata lands an elbow inside. Matata scores with a hook to the body. Matata's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Matata gets in close and instigates a clinch. Matata lands a body shot. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Matata breaks the clinch.
Jimm takes a body punch but keeps moving. Hakuna Matata seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Matata closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Matata stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Matata gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Matata lands an elbow that stopped Jimm in his tracks for a moment. Matata has Jimm pressed against the cage.

Hakuna Matata is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Matata pushes Jimm up against the cage in a clinch. Jimm wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Jimm. That's going to take a lot out of him. A left hand lands to the body for Matata.
Matata manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Hakuna Matata dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jim Jimm's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A short right hand to the side of the head by Matata. Matata with a knee to the head.
Jimm using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Matata has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Jim Jimm's cut is getting worse. Matata breaks the clinch.
Matata connects with a nice cross there... Jimm is looking wobbly and Matata recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Jimm to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Matata jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
