Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eindria Chao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Eckstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eindria Chao! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jason Eckstein! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Konstantin Menshow and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chao avoids the body shot from Eckstein.
Eckstein scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Chao doesn't seem bothered though. Chao misses with a body shot.
Eckstein closes the distance and clinches. Chao struggles to land a body shot inside as Eckstein controls his hands.
Chao tries to throw a body punch but Eckstein avoids it by throwing Chao back against the cage. A right handed body shot lands from Eckstein.
Eckstein lands a hook that snaps the head of Chao backwards. Chao working aggressively here.
The referee calls for Chao to work.
Eckstein throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Eckstein blocks an uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Eckstein is leaning against Chao and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Chao swings wildly with an uppercut but Eckstein uses good head movement to avoid it. Eckstein digs a right hand into Chao's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Chao's gas tank. Eckstein throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Chaos head.
It looks like Eindria Chao has been cut. Eckstein scores with a hook to the body. Chao is breathing heavily. Eckstein lands a body punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eckstein lands a right hand that snaps the head of Chao backwards. Eckstein scores with a shoulder strike. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Chao. Eckstein breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Eckstein fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Eckstein feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Chao's calf. Good leg kick by Eckstein there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Eckstein has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Eckstein scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Eckstein scores with a leg kick.
Eckstein throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Chao stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Eckstein connects with a body shot that sends Chao's belly button to the back. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Chao drops his hands momentarily and Eckstein takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Chao walks into a stiff left hand from Eckstein. Eckstein lands a nice looking body shot.
A good leg kick by Eckstein. Eckstein connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Eckstein is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Chao rather than just go for the knockout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eckstein scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Chao doesn't seem bothered though. Eckstein lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Eckstein buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Chao on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Eckstein. Eckstein obviously looking to wear him down.
Chao takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Chao on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Chao misses the body punch and Eckstein counters with an outside leg kick.
Eckstein cracks Chao with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Eckstein has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Chao to stand back up! Eckstein scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Eckstein. Chao shrugs it off though. Eckstein throws a monster overhand right that drops Chao! Eckstein follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jason Eckstein! Jason Eckstein bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
