Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mohamed Mustafa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helio Chavez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mustafa's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Can't be touched. Chavez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Brazilian National Anthem kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Mustafa as Chavez shoots in.
Mustafa misses with a takedown
and Chavez counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Chavez.

Chavez is trying to stick to Mustafa's back but Mustafa is turning into Chavez. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Chavez's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Mustafa.
Mustafa wants to get up but he can't break Chavez's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Chavez stalks Mustafa and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mustafa's face. Mustafa staggers backwards, shaken.

Mustafa has Chavez pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Chavez manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Even with his hooks in, Chavez manages to miss with strikes from the back.

Chavez closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Chavez lands in his opponent's guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mustafa is on top in guard.
Chavez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mustafa's guard.

Mustafa is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Chavez gets his way!
