Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Efrain Cantu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Declan Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Efrain Cantu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Efrain Cantu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Declan Alexander! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cantu is looking to clinch but Alexander is avoiding it.
Alexander clinches. Alexander is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Alexander is trying to drag Cantu to the mat but Cantu just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Alexander lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Cantu wants to improve his position but Alexander is controlling well.
Cantu might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Well, if Alexander is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cantu keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alexander is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Let's hope that Alexander has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Alexander trying to control the action but Cantu is working from the bottom. Alexander slips a nice elbow through Cantu's hands, connecting with Cantu's forehead. Ground and pound from Alexander.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Still in half guard, Alexander seems content to control. Alexander drops an elbow to the side of Cantu's head. Alexander perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Alexander winds up and cracks Cantu with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Alexander is pressing down on Cantu's thigh, looking to free his foot. Cantu is holding on for now. Alexander seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Alexander not landing any meaningful shots this time. Cantu is trying to control but can't.
Alexander lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Alexander is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Alexander is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alexander is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Cantu is surviving well by controlling Alexander's body position as best he can. Alexander raining down shots from the mount! Alexander lands a nice shot to the head. Alexander lands a big shot to the head and Cantu winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
