Our spies down at at Kombat MMA inform us that Zinn has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Zinn wants to stand and escape but Backlund is having none of it. Bob Backlund overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Backlund is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Zinn has escaped the position, nice work there. Zinn is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Backlund is controlling him well.
