Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tojii Gambin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Jasper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jan Jasper is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tojii Gambin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jan Jasper! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gambin gets a double leg takedown into Jasper's guard. Jasper wants to get back to his feet but Gambin is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Gambin slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Jasper is looking for a sweep. Gambin trying to control the position but Jasper is working away. Gambin is really struggling to control Jasper but he's trying to hold on to the position. Jasper bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Gambin fails miserably with a takedown attempt. The fight moves into the clinch position. Gambin dodges an elbow strike from Jasper.
Gambin manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Jasper can't get the takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jasper misses with a short punch on the inside. Gambin misses with a knee strike.
Gambin is trying to pull guard but Jasper turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Gambin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jasper stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tojii Gambin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jasper clinches with his opponent.
Jasper is looking to take this one to the mat. Gambin content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Jasper changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Gambin fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Jasper shoots in looking for a takedown but Gambin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jasper's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Gambin gets the takedown into side control. Jasper taking punishment in the form of punches.
Gambin is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Gambin working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gambin working the head and body with strikes. Jasper is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jasper manages to get back to half guard. Jasper looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Gambin is looking to take a break and control but Jasper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jasper is trying to stand back up but Gambin is controlling him
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gambin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Gambin wants to control but Jasper is keeping him busy. Jasper wants to get back to his feet. Gambin is keen to just control but Jasper is a slippery customer. Gambin works his way into full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gambin has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jasper's face.
Gambin won't let Jasper get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Gambin prevents Jasper from getting the reversal. Gambin is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jasper can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gambin can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jasper is looking to escape. Jasper is looking to get to half guard. Gambin trying to control but Jasper is having none of it. Jasper sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tojii Gambin dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Jasper dives in and grabs Gambin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gambin pushes down on Jasper's head and hops out. Gambin showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jasper.
A little feinted left hand from Gambin on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Gambin moves into range and clinches up with Jasper. Jasper stops a takedown attempt from Gambin.
Jasper misses with the head strike.
Jasper misses with a hook to the ribs.
Gambin breaks from the clinch.
Gambin throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Horrible takedown attempt by Jasper or perhaps it was just good defense by Gambin, which made it look bad. Jasper tries to clinch but fails miserably letting Gambin counter with a right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gambin has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jasper has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Gambin after a bit of a struggle. Tojii Gambin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jan Jasper. Gambin jumps into guard, dragging Jasper to the mat.
Jasper scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Gambin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jasper is one step ahead there. Jasper slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gambin is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Nice strikes from Jasper there. Gambin makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gambin. Gambin is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jasper can do to turn this around? Gambin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jasper is aware though and is defending well. Jasper stands and steps away. Gambin gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Jasper scores with a takedown into Gambin's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gambin is on top in guard.
Jasper has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Gambin has passed into side control.
Gambin lands some shots froms side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jasper is looking to reverse the position. Jasper is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Jasper is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Gambin's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Gambin! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Jasper has tapped! This one is allllll over!
