PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Christ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and colm hynes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Christ comes to the cage accompanied by Its the final countdown. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hynes shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Christ but Christ pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jesus Christ seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Christ stalks hynes and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into hynes's face. hynes staggers backwards, shaken.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from hynes.
Christ tries to close the distance and clinch but hynes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
