12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bojan Vladislav! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kerjalainen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Vladislav sees it coming and avoids it easily. Vladislav throws out a counter right but Kerjalainen avoids it with no problem. Vladislav avoids the head kick by Kerjalainen.
Vladislav keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kerjalainen. Kerjalainen throws an off balance right hand
and Vladislav counters with a takedown into side control. Vladislav wants to control but Kerjalainen is keeping him busy. Vladislav tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Vladislav looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kerjalainen is looking to regain half guard here but Vladislav keeps moving and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kerjalainen struggling a bit here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kerjalainen is not content to let Vladislav control the position. Vladislav tries to move into full mount but can't pass Kerjalainen's legs. Vladislav advances to full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kerjalainen keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Vladislav controlling from mount. Vladislav goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Kerjalainen is on top in guard.
Kerjalainen looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Vladislav working for a triangle but Kerjalainen defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kerjalainen won't allow Vladislav to sweep him here. Kerjalainen tries to free his leg and advance position but Vladislav is retaining full guard. Kerjalainen is looking to stand up but Vladislav won't let him. Kerjalainen sitting in guard, not really doing much. Vladislav looking for subs off his back but Kerjalainen has passed one foot through into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kerjalainen stalling. Vladislav is looking to improve his position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Vladislav looking for submissions off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bojan Vladislav dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Kerjalainen throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Vladislav cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kerjalainen connects with a leg kick. Vladislav looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Kerjalainen is looking to clinch. Vladislav with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kerjalainen to score with a decent uppercut. Kerjalainen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Vladislav moves away from the strike by Kerjalainen. Kerjalainen cracks Vladislav with a good jab. Nice uppercut there from Kerjalainen. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kerjalainen moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Kerjalainen walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Vladislav checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. The fighters circling - Kerjalainen throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Despite the aggression on Vladislav's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Keijo Kerjalainen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kerjalainen sizes up Vladislav with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Keijo Kerjalainen is winning the standup battle so far. Kerjalainen connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Kerjalainen looks to land a combination but Vladislav avoids it well. Both fighters circling a little - Kerjalainen finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Jab from Kerjalainen.
Vladislav is rocked! Kerjalainen circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Vladislav tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Kerjalainen wins by KO!

After the fight, Keijo Kerjalainen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
