Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Roundpants (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Alevizon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alevizon has chosen Atreyu - Becoming the Bull as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. On his way into the cage it seems that Bob Roundpants has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bob Roundpants seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alevizon scores a takedown into full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Roundpants tries to lock up and control but Alevizon gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Alevizon is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Roundpants has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Roundpants!
Roundpants wants to stand and escape but instead Alevizon has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Alevizon postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Roundpants is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Alevizon, into his guard.

Roundpants has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Alevizon is proving hard to escape from.

Alevizon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Roundpants can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Alevizon manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Alevizon jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Roundpants is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Roundpants and Alevizon has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Roundpants regains half guard.

Roundpants has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Alevizon is working away from the top position though.

Alevizon is looking for a kimura but Roundpants is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Alevizon to get the leverage.

Roundpants wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Alevizon drops an elbow to the side of Roundpants's head.
Alevizon passes the guard and advances to mount!

Alevizon has control of Roundpants's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Roundpants regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The fighters are battling for position here. Alevizon manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Alevizon moves in looking to clinch but Roundpants pushes him off.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Roundpants closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Roundpants pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Alevizon tries for a takedown but Roundpants manages to get underhooks.

Alevizon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Roundpants doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Roundpants manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Alevizon has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Roundpants doesn't defend quickly enough and Alevizon has managed to lock this one up! Can Roundpants escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Alevizon on a fantastic submission victory.
