Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tony Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by TNT by AC DC. The key to victory for Tony Brown has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tony Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mr Ward! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ward bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Brown is trying to improve his position. Brown tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. We've been hearing good reports from Brown's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Brown wants to control but Ward is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ward working for a submission but Brown is keeping him at bay. Brown is trying to escape the mount but Ward keeps good control and instead manages to take Brown's back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brown is really stuck here.
Ward is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Brown knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Brown for a finish. Ward is hanging on to Brown's back as he tries to escape.
Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Brown showing good submission defense here.
Ward is trying to stick to Brown's back but Brown is turning into Ward. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Ward's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Brown. Brown seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Ward has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Ward tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ward is trying to keep Brown in close.
Brown will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Brown trying to control but Ward is working from the bottom. Brown drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ward looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ward looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ward!
Ward wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Brown, who protects the arm well. Ward passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Brown!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ward trying to control but he's not successful this time. Ward lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Brown hang on? Brown keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Ward looking to control but Brown is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Brown tries to hold on but Ward postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ward tries to control but Brown wriggling away. Ward lands a heavy elbow.
It looks like Tony Brown has been cut. Brown is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Ward looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Brown tries to lock up and control but Ward gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ward throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Brown has his hands clasped together but Ward breaks the hold and Brown is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Ward!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Mr Ward! Mr Ward bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
