Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chong Zhu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yves Jabouin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zhu's entrance music is Meet Gazoo. A fine choice. Jabouin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Trobule On My Mind- Pusha T and Tyler The Creator kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jabouin.
The crowd cheers as Zhu lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jabouin doesn't seem phased though.
A chopping leg kick lands by Zhu.
Zhu takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Zhu scores with a body shot.
Zhu slips a jab from Jabouin.
Jabouin takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Zhu throws a sloppy head kick
and Jabouin counters with a nice body shot.

Zhu looks to throw the jab but Jabouin is out of range.
Zhu keeps the fight on the outside.
Zhu misses with a straight right.

Zhu throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jabouin sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jabouin lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jabouin.

It looks like Chong Zhu has been cut.
Jabouin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Jabouin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Zhu swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Jabouin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Zhu has time to react.
Oh Zhu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chong Zhu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zhu throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Zhu throws out a loose jab but Jabouin uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jabouin walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Zhu throws a wild body kick that Jabouin sees coming a mile off.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zhu throws a poor cross that misses
and Jabouin makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Zhu looks to land a left hand but Jabouin moved out of range nicely.
Jabouin ducks under a wild hook from Zhu.
We've been informed that Jabouin has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Zhu throws a right hand that Jabouin ducks under and follows up with a left that Jabouin also avoids with ease.
Jabouin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Zhu manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Zhu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Jabouin lands with a hook. Zhu tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Zhu throws a body kick that misses.
Zhu avoids the body shot from Jabouin.
Zhu appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Zhu takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Jabouin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Zhu doesn't seem bothered though.
Zhu throws a hook to the side of Jabouin's head but Jabouin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Jabouin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jabouin, as that shot connected.

Zhu throws a jab but it's blocked by Jabouin.
Zhu throws a series of punches but Jabouin moves out of range.
A countering left hand to the body from Jabouin misses.
Zhu tries to move into range but Jabouin moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Jabouin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Zhu throws a predictable looking body shot
and Jabouin counters with a head kick from the bowels of hell that crumples Zhu! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Yves Jabouin started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
