The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kersikov takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Hemsky throws a combination that misses
and Kersikov makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Hemsky really felt that one!
Hemsky moves out of range of the strikes.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kersikov lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hemsky has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hemsky and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Hemsky throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kersikov counters with a right hand to the body.
Kersikov lands the left hand.
Hemsky ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A swing and a miss from Hemsky.
Hemsky throws a combination that misses
and Kersikov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kersikov scores with the left hand. Hemsky knows he should have avoided that one.
Kersikov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hemsky looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kersikov thows a left - swing and a miss!
Nice body kick from Kersikov.
Kersikov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hemsky.
Kersikov was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
and Kersikov counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Hemsky! He's just covering up as Kersikov starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marko Kersikov!
