Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Street (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Street's choice of entrance music: The Truth. Michael Street has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jonathan Hall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
28 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Street! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Street avoids the head kick by Hall.
Hall gets in close and instigates a clinch. Street goes for a takedown attempt but Hall pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Hall wants to clinch up but Street keeps it at a distance. Hall moves forwards but Street connects with a nice, crisp jab. Street has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Street misses with a body kick. Street avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hall has been working on his boxing with his coaches at M Jay's Training Center in the buildup to the fight. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! The fight stays on the outside here - Hall looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Street swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hall. Street throws a nice outside leg kick. Street blocks a low kick nicely. Hall looks to land a left hand but Street moved out of range nicely. Michael Street seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hall fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Street on the side of the head. Hall throws a sloppy head kick and Street moves out of range easily. Street lands with a kick to the temple. Hall shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Jonathan Hall has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hall throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Hall throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Street tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hall is in Street's guard. Hall postures up in Street's guard and throws a big left but Street blocks it. Hall loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hall won't allow Street to sweep him here. Street keeping full guard, as Hall tries to pass. Hall stopping the sweep attempt from Street. Hall wants to pass the guard but Street is keeping the position. Hall postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Street bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hall's guard. Street throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hall works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hall is looking for a triangle but Street pushes his legs off easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Street can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Street postures up and lands a big shot to Hall's brow. Hall has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hall is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Street pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hall is keeping the position for now. Street wants to control from the top but Hall keeps moving. Hall looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Street loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hall manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Street manages to get himself to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Street wants to sweep but no luck. Hall wants to control from the top but Street keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Street escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hall gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Street is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hall pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Street is keeping the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hall distracts Street with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Street pushes a forearm under Hall's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Hall is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Michael Street! Michael Street really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that SP Ultimate Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
