The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maggot swinging wilding here.

Maggot takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Maggot lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carter Jr circles away quickly and effectively.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Carter Jr swings around for an armbar but Maggot sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Carter Jr's guard.

Carter Jr has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Maggot can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jack Maggot will probably get the nod.

Maggot throws a series of punches but Carter Jr avoids them all with ease.

and Carter Jr counters with a single leg into guard. Maggot didn't expect that.
Maggot knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carter Jr on the ground.
Carter Jr is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Maggot can't keep his opponent in guard - Carter Jr advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Carter Jr moves into full mount! Maggot won't be happy about that!

Maggot is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Carter Jr is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Maggot has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Carter Jr goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Maggot turns into him and now he's in Carter Jr's guard.
Maggot has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Maggot wants to stand but Carter Jr is controlling his posture from full guard.

I would just about give that final round to Dwayne Carter Jr.
Well Carter Jr has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
