Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rick Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jigoro Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson comes to the cage accompanied by Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rick Robinson!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jigoro Kane!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane checks a leg kick.
Kane steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Robinson. That one must have hurt.
Robinson throws a head kick but Kane moves out of range.
Robinson slips a jab from Kane.
Kane walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
The fight stays on the outside here - Robinson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kane stuffs the takedown attempt from Robinson. Robinson gets slowly back to his feet.
Robinson tries to clinch but Kane is having none of it.
Kane lands a nice leg kick that just misses Robinson's sensitive parts.
Kane fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Robinson manages to avoid it.
Kane ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Robinson moves away.
Kane takes a jab right on the kisser.
Robinson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kane.
Kane scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Kane throws a jab but it's blocked by Robinson.
Kane blocks the body kick.
Robinson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Robinson misses with a kick to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Robinson throws a head kick that Kane semi-blocks.
It looks like Jigoro Kane has been cut.
Robinson throws and low kick but Kane moves out of range easily.
Kane has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kane there as he acknowledges the shot.
Robinson throws a front kick that sends Kane stumbling back into the cage.
The fight stays on the outside here - Robinson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kane throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Robinson counters by clinching up.
Kane tries to break the clinch but Robinson is controlling the position.
Robinson pulls guard successfully.
Kane stopping the sweep attempt from Robinson.
Kane wants to stand but Robinson is controlling his posture from full guard.
Kane gets to his feet. Robinson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Robinson thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kane if he has to take too many more of those.
Kane throws a good cross that connects.
Robinson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kane's waist but Kane gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Robinson off to one side.
Robinson fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Robinson misses with a body kick.
Kane throws a series of punches but Robinson moves out of range.
Kane dodges the punch combination from Robinson.
Robinson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick Robinson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kane slips under a jab from Robinson.
Robinson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kane connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Robinson momentarily.
Robinson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kane's calf.
Kane throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Robinson clinches with his opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kane wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Robinson has him pressed against the cage.
Robinson swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Kane breaks from the clinch.
Robinson lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Kane is rocked!
Jigoro Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Robinson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kane is still on wobbly legs! Can Robinson finish him?
Robinson lands a brutal head kick. Kane looks out on his feet and Robinson throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
