1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fejao Rulez! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santiago misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rulez looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Rulez tries to clinch but Santiago moves out of range. Santiago clinches but Rulez breaks the clinch and Rulez counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Santiago with an attempt at a knee that misses.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Santiago just misses with a elbow thrown towards Rulez's brow. Rulez drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Rulez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Santiago wants to stand up but Rulez is controlling him. Santiago is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Rulez wants to control from the top but Santiago keeps moving. Rulez won't allow Santiago to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Badauu Santiago is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Santiago moves in looking to clinch but Rulez pushes him off. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Santiago looks to clinch and Rulez counters by moving into the clinch. Santiago lands a right hand that snaps the head of Rulez backwards. Rulez is trying to stall.
Rulez seems frustrated at his inability to get double underhooks. Santiago escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rulez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Santiago's guard. Santiago not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Fejao Rulez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Rulez blocks an elbow strike. Rulez wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Fejao Rulez. I think Rulez has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
