The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Castaneda rushes Reles and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Castaneda is fighting off a takedown attempt but Reles is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Castaneda to the mat. Castaneda regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Reles keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Castaneda's head.
Reles lands a couple of elbows.
Reles must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Reles is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Reles trying to control the position from guard on top but Castaneda is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Reles is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Reles stands up over Castaneda, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Castaneda escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Reles gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Castaneda is looking to cinch up a triangle. Reles throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Castaneda's body to avoid the submission. Castaneda has instead reached around Reles's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Castaneda arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
