The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volker wants to slow Barnes down by chopping away at his legs.
Barnes throws a nice inside leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Barnes, right into the meat.
Volker throws a right hand that misses
and Barnes counters with a nice body shot.
Volker has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Nordic Top Team in the buildup to the fight.
Barnes keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Volker.
Volker misses with a double jab
and Barnes holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

It looks like Ludvig Volker has been cut.
Barnes lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Volker is rocked!
Barnes has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Volker - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Barnes, and another! Volker is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
