The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Haggstrom counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Haggstrom uses his free foot to push down on McGregoire's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for McGregoire.
Haggstrom tries to control but McGregoire wriggling away.
McGregoire is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McGregoire is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

McGregoire really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Haggstrom. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Haggstrom cracks McGregoire with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
McGregoire is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Haggstrom fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Haggstrom moves to the back position.
McGregoire won't enjoy being in this position. Haggstrom looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - McGregoire is tapping - it's over boys! Haggstrom picks up the submission victory!
