Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Belly Button!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fourth Foot!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foot slips a jab from Button.
Button throws a right hand that Foot ducks under and follows up with a left that Foot also avoids with ease.
Button throws a shot from downtown. Foot moves away and avoids it.
Button tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Belly Button seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Foot feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Buttons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Belly Button has been cut.
Button uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Foot.
A little feinted left hand from Button on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Foot ducks right into an uppercut from Button.
Foot falls off balance throwing a combination
and Button counters with a straight right hand.
Button throws a head kick but Foot moves out of range.
Foot throws out a counter right but Button avoids it with no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Foot rushes Button with punches - Button moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Button goes down! Foot follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fourth Foot!
