Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jam Roly Poly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Minh Vu Hoang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jam Roly Poly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minh Vu Hoang!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vu Hoang with a lazy takedown attempt
and Roly Poly counters with a three punch combo that has Vu Hoang backing up. Vu Hoang nods at Roly Poly to acknowledge the strikes.
Vu Hoang shoots for a takedown but Roly Poly saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Vu Hoang tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Vu Hoang throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Roly Poly's waist but Roly Poly gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vu Hoang off to one side.
Jam Roly Poly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Minh Vu Hoang.
Roly Poly closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Roly Poly scores with a shot to the side of Vu Hoang's head.
Roly Poly is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Roly Poly is trying to pull guard but Vu Hoang has him pressed against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vu Hoang is fighting off a takedown attempt but Roly Poly is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Vu Hoang to the mat. Vu Hoang regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Vu Hoang is looking to stand up but Roly Poly isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Roly Poly has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Vu Hoang to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Roly Poly is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Vu Hoang pulls down on the head and he's put Roly Poly to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Minh Vu Hoang!
