Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sauce Money!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jacques Cousteau!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Money scores with a takedown into Cousteau's guard.

Cousteau has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Money is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cousteau.
Money landing strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Money tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Cousteau drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Money manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Cousteau has Money in his guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Money clinches up with Cousteau and pushes him back against the cage.
Cousteau is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Money gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Cousteau tries to break the clinch but Money is controlling the position.

Cousteau shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Money makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Cousteau really felt that one!

Money bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cousteau's head backwards.

Money keeps control of the position for the meantime.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
