Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Devas Tator!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jean Labosky!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Columbo Gatti and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tator throws a nice outside leg kick.
Labosky lands with a nice combination. Tator backs away looking to recover.
Labosky throws a low kick, looking for Tator's leg but Tator calmly moves out of range.
Jean Labosky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Labosky throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tator on the side of the head.

Labosky scores with a one two! Tator had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Tator misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Labosky.
Labosky throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Tator walks into a straight right hand from Labosky.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tator moves away from the strike by Labosky.
Labosky lands a nice shot to the body.
Labosky has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Tator.
Labosky tries a head kick but it misses.

Labosky displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tator throws out the jab.
Tator throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Tator throws a jab but it's blocked by Labosky.
A thudding body kick lands there by Labosky!

Labosky swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Tator counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Tator.
Labosky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tator. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Tator is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Tator scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Tator loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Tator is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Tator's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Tator trying to control but Labosky is working from the bottom.
Tator cracks Labosky with a solid left hand.
Tator is standing up over Labosky. Labosky looks to escape but Tator dives into side control.
Tator is working Labosky over with some ground and pound from side control.
Tator postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Labosky is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Labosky takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Labosky tries to escape but Tator is in control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Labosky wants to get back to his feet.
Tator has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Tator cracks Labosky with a big right hand but Labosky just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The ground and pound from Tator seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Labosky is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tator tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Labosky tries to escape but Tator is in control.
Tator lands a nice forearm strike.
Tator has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Labosky!

Labosky is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Labosky is still in real trouble! Can Tator finish him?
Tator connects with a bit shot that sees Labosky covering up! More strikes from Tator and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Tator is our winner by TKO!
