Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 23 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jamal Mohammed! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Victor Stoic! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Steve Montenegro and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mohammed wants to clinch up but Stoic keeps it at a distance. Stoic closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stoic lands in his opponent's guard. Stoic lands a couple of digs. Stoic must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Stoic is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Mohammed is looking for a triangle but Stoic pushes his legs off easily.

He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Stoic content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Mohammed can't keep his opponent in guard - Stoic advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stoic looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Stoic is trying to control the action in half guard but Mohammed is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Stoic scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Stoic passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Mohammed! Stoic lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Stoic working away from the top, dropping strikes. A big strike lands for Stoic! That's really hurt Mohammed and he's turned his back - Stoic keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Stoic jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

In defeat, Jamal Mohammed stepped up to the mic, saying 'losses happen whatever im still going to be the best ever'.
