1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bruce Yonder! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yonder has managed to clinch.
Solomon pulls guard successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yonder tries to free his leg and advance position but Solomon is retaining full guard. Yonder trying to control but Solomon is working from the bottom. Yonder must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Solomon is pulling down on Yonder's head. It's preventing any offense from Yonder, at least for the moment. Yonder postures up in Solomon's guard and throws a big left but Solomon blocks it. Solomon looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yonder trying to control the position from guard on top but Solomon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Solomon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Yonder looking to pass the guard.

It's preventing any offense from Yonder, at least for the moment. Yonder seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Solomon is pulling down on Yonder's head to control his posture.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Yonder shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yonder wants to pass to mount but Solomon is defending the position. Solomon regains full guard. Nicely done. Yonder postures up.
Yonder wants to stand but Solomon is controlling his posture from full guard. Solomon is pulling down on Yonder's head to control his posture. Solomon is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Solomon throws a shot from downtown. Yonder moves away and avoids it. Yonder closes the distance and clinches. Solomon being controlled against the cage. Yonder tries to land knees in the clinch but Solomon avoids the damage to the body. Yonder prevents Solomon from breaking the clinch.

Solomon tries to break free but Yonder pushes him back against the cage. Yonder missing with knees to the body.
Solomon goes for a takedown attempt but Yonder pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Yonder closes the distance and pushes Solomon back into the cage. Yonder lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Yonder pushes Solomon back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Yonder is trying to stall.

Bruce Yonder dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Solomon gets tackled into the cage by Yonder. Yonder maintains the clinch. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Yonder holding his opponent close, against the cage.

Yonder turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Yonder trying to control the action but Solomon is working from the bottom. Solomon manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Solomon wants to improve his position but Yonder is controlling well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Solomon is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Yonder's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Yonder's back! Yonder wants to escape the position.

Solomon tries to keep control of the position but Yonder is staying busy. Yonder wants to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Solomon trying to control momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Solomon tightening his grip on Yonder, looking for the choke. Solomon is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Solomon avoiding Yonder 's attempts to control his hands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnnie Solomon dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Yonder shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Solomon manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Solomon holds on and takes a little breather. Solomon not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Yonder makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Yonder drops back, looking for a kneebar! Solomon looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Solomon looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Solomon!
Solomon is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Yonder knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yonder is not content to let Solomon control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Solomon thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Solomon working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Yonder manages to work his way to half guard, despite Solomon's best efforts. Yonder wants to get back to full guard. Solomon is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Solomon prevents Yonder from improving his position. Yonder is doing well to control the position and prevent Solomon from advancing to side control. Solomon performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Solomon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Yonder keeps working.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Yonder throws a nice looking combination but Solomon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Solomon feinted there with a counter leg kick. Solomon gets tackled into the cage by Yonder. Yonder maintains the clinch. Yonder creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Solomon has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Solomon is trying to break free. Solomon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Yonder throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Solomon was covering up waiting for the punch and Yonder finishes the takedown easily into guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Solomon controlling the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Yonder trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Solomon trying to keep a closed guard but Yonder is proving a slippery customer.
And that's the end of the fight! Bruce Yonder comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Yonder has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
