Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darius Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Marks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Darius Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeff Marks! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Chad Campbell and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller throws a lazy right hand but Marks sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Marks has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Miller is landing a low percentage of strikes. A left lands for Marks. Miller lands with an uppercut that bounces Marks off the cage and back into range.
It looks like Jeff Marks has been cut. Marks slips a jab and a cross from Miller.
Miller throws a right and a left that both miss. Marks looks to land a right hand but Miller moved out of range. Marks works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Miller throws a jab when Marks was well out of range. Marks misses with an uppercut
and Miller connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Marks throws a big shot that misses. Miller dodges the punch combination from Marks.
Miller attempts a counter takedown but Marks avoids it well and moves away. Miller closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Marks is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Miller is keeping busy. Miller will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Marks up against the cage. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Miller takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Marks trying to stall but Miller improves his position.
Miller is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Miller lands on the inside with an uppercut. Miller lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Marks backwards. Miller prevents a body shot from Marks. Miller has Marks pushed against the cage. Miller lands a hook that snaps the head of Marks backwards. Miller stalls. Marks escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Marks prevents a body shot from Miller. Marks breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Miller throws out a loose jab but Marks uses good head movement to avoid it. Jeff Marks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Marks circles away from the clinch attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Miller. Marks does a little dance to reset his feet. Miller throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Marks. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A slow jab from Marks misses its intended target. Miller is looking to clinch but Marks is avoiding it.
Miller tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Miller missing with a left hand there. Marks was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Marks throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Miller sees it coming and avoids it easily. Miller has managed to clinch.
Marks trying to stall but Miller improves his position.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Marks. Miller leaning his opponent against the cage. Marks misses with some punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marks blocks a body shot from Miller. Miller lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Marks backwards. Marks pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Miller ducks under a wild hook from Marks. Miller slips under a jab from Marks. Marks throws a series of punches but Miller moves out of range. Marks throws out a powerful jab. Miller fails to land with a series of punches.
Marks throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Miller scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Marks doesn't seem bothered though. Miller throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Marks on the side of the head.
That has opened up Jeff Marks's cut even more. Miller looks to score with a jab to the body but Marks is just out of range. Marks swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. The fighters circling - Marks throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Miller looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Miller!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Miller blocks a jab. Miller changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller wants to clinch up but Marks keeps it at a distance. Miller drops Marks with a big left hand! Marks is injured, injured bad! Miller jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
