Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Kappa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Metusalem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kappa comes to the cage accompanied by WTF COLLECTIVE - Jon Lajoie. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, David Kappa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Boris Metusalem! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kappa shoots in but Metusalem avoids the takedown attempt easily. Metusalem rushes Kappa and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Metusalem wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kappa has him pressed against the cage. Kappa goes for a takedown in the clinch but Metusalem prevents it.
Kappa keeps control of Metusalem as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Kappa is trying to drag Metusalem to the mat but Metusalem just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Kappa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Metusalem tries to break the clinch but Kappa is controlling the position. Metusalem wants to get back to striking at distance but Kappa won't allow it.
Kappa has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Metusalem avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Metusalem pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Metusalem slips a jab and a cross from Kappa.
Kappa fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A combination from Metusalem does no damage. Metusalem moves into the clinch. Metusalem breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. No joy there for Kappa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kappa shoots in and drives through. Metusalem sprawls well. Kappa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Metusalem tries to avoid it but Kappa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Metusalem to the ground. Metusalem escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kappa shoots for a double leg takedown but Metusalem sprawls well. He's pushed Kappa's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Kappa is breathing heavily. Metusalem throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Metusalem darts in and clinches Kappa up against the cage. Kappa tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Metusalem just stands there and leans against the cage. Kappa tries to pull guard but Metusalem holds him up against the cage and eventually Kappa drops back down to his feet.
A head punch on the inside from Kappa fails to land. Metusalem can't break the clinch.
Kappa wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Kappa is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Metusalem wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kappa has him pressed against the cage. Metusalem lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Kappa. Metusalem pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Metusalem swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Metusalem takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Metusalem fails to land with a series of punches.

Metusalem gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Kappa fails to pull guard.
Metusalem lands a body punch. This has been an exciting period of action! Metusalem tries to break the clinch but Kappa is controlling the position. Metusalem breaks the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kappa keeps the fight on the outside. Metusalem tries a head kick but it misses.
Metusalem tries to bum rush Kappa with a series of wild strikes but Kappa uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Metusalem gets a clinch. Metusalem is looking to break free of the clinch but Kappa has double underhooks. Metusalem is trying to break the clinch but Kappa has him pressed against the cage. Metusalem gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kappa.

Metusalem drops Kappa with a beautiful combination! Kappa stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Metusalem is looking for the KO!
It looks like David Kappa has been cut. Metusalem gets a clinch. Metusalem wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Metusalem is trying to break free. Kappa takes a shot to the head. Metusalem wants to get back to striking at distance but Kappa won't allow it.

Kappa throws a combination that misses and Metusalem counters with a right hand that sends Kappa tumbling to the canvas! Can Metusalem finish him? He dives into Kappa's guard looking to do just that!
Kappa is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Metusalem decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kappa, up you get! Oh Kappa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Metusalem moves into the clinch successfully.
Kappa seems to have got his legs back now. Metusalem escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kappa fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Metusalem sprawls well initially but Kappa persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Metusalem really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kappa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Metusalem is defending against the submission attempts here by Kappa.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Metusalem can do anything to dispel that myth. Kappa is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Metusalem is trying to stand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kappa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kappa seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Metusalem has recovered full guard. Metusalem pushes Kappa off and gets back to his feet.
David Kappa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Metusalem throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Kappa tumbling to the canvas! Metusalem stands and steps away. Kappa gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Metusalem drops Kappa with a straight right hand, right on the button! Metusalem follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
