The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakama lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Briscow keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sakama.
Briscow bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Sakama is looking for a sweep.
Sakama is trying to control Briscow's posture but Briscow avoids it.
Sakama tries to improve position but can't.
Briscow working away.
Briscow has hold of Sakama's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Sakama seems comfortable defending it but Briscow has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Sakama is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Sakama is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Briscow couldn't care less - he's delighted!
