The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Llavicrep thuds his right hand into Cook's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
It looks like John Cook has been cut.
Cook shoots in but Llavicrep avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Llavicrep swings for the body but Cook moves out of range.
Cook wants to counter the offense by Llavicrep and move into the clinch position.
Nice takedown defense from Llavicrep. No joy for Cook on that attempt.
A little feinted left hand from Llavicrep on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Llavicrep dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Llavicrep cracks a nice hook into Cook's ribs.
Cook looks winded!
A shot to the liver by Llavicrep. Beautiful body shot.
Llavicrep throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cook loses concentration momentarily and Llavicrep pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Cook crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Llavicrep finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
