Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Victor Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tekken Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stevens comes to the cage accompanied by Can't Hold Us. Victor Stevens could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tekken Slice's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Victor Stevens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tekken Slice!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens misses with a combination

and Slice counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Stevens looking for a sweep. Not yet Stevens, not yet.
Slice trying to control but Stevens is working from the bottom.
Stevens controls Slice momentarily but Slice frees himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stevens wants to get back to his feet but Slice is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Stevens wants to stand up but Slice is controlling him.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Stevens takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Slice doesn't manage to clinch there - Stevens circles away.
Slice avoids a punch combination nicely.
Stevens throws out a powerful jab.
Slice slips a jab from Stevens.
Slice moves out of range of the strikes.

Sloppy strikes from Stevens. Those never looked like landing.

Slice has Stevens up against the cage in a clinch.
Stevens lands a left hand.
Slice drops down looking for an ankle pick but Stevens pulls his leg out and moves away.
Stevens tests Slice's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Stevens tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Slice tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Stevens really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Slice blocks the body kick.

Slice bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Slice wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stevens keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stevens is trying to get back to his feet.

Slice tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Stevens is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Slice is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Stevens is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Slice thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Stevens tries to improve position but can't.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Stevens gets back to half guard.
Stevens keeping hold of Slice's head, controlling as best he can.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tekken Slice dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Stevens swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
As Stevens backs off Slice throws a huge counter combo but Stevens manages to avoid it all.
Stevens throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Stevens ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Slice moves away.
Stevens fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Slice feints the counter takedown.

Stevens closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stevens lands in his opponent's guard.
Stevens wants to stand but Slice is controlling his posture from full guard.
Stevens slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slice not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Slice is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Stevens stands up from Slice's guard - Stevens perhaps looking for a knockout.
Slice blocks a head kick by Stevens.
Slice ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Stevens stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stevens wants it to stay on the feet.
Nice defenses there by Slice.
Stevens is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Slice can do to turn this around?
Stevens connects with a nice looking jab.
Stevens tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Stevens misses with a double jab.
Stevens circles away from the clinch attempt.

A decent looking cross lands there for Stevens.
Slice fails in his attempt to clinch.
Stevens is looking to clinch but Slice is avoiding it.
And Slice tries to counter it with a takedown but Stevens pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Slice moves out of range of the body kick from Stevens.
Slice unleashes a big counter combination but Stevens bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Stevens is trying hard to land a takedown here. Slice sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Stevens has closed the distance and engaged Slice in a clinch.
Stevens is pushing Slice up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Slice on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Stevens connects with a nasty looking knee right to Slice's face.
Slice wants a takedown but no success here.
Stevens tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Slice avoids it.
Slice is looking for a takedown.
Victor Stevens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tekken Slice.
Slice is breathing heavily.

Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Knees in the clinch landing for Stevens.

Stevens gets control of Slice's arms and successfully pulls guard. Stevens will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Stevens is looking to stand back up but Slice counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Stevens.
Stevens tries to kick Slice off but Slice keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Slice perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Stevens pushes Slice off looking to stand but Slice dives back in and keeps control.
Stevens wants to control but Slice is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Stevens is trying to stand.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Stevens tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Slice manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Stevens connects with a high kick.
Stevens tries to clinch but Slice is having none of it.
Slice takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Slice walks into a stiff left hand from Stevens.

Slice closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Tekken Slice has got the better of the ground game so far.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Slice trying to control the position but Stevens is working away.

Slice is trying to get an arm triangle but Stevens is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Stevens fails to land the takedown.

Stevens moves into range and clinches up with Slice.
Slice has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Stevens is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Slice tries to score a body lock takedown but Stevens shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Slice managing to block the knees to the body from Stevens.

Stevens breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Slice counters with a three punch combo that has Stevens backing up. Stevens nods at Slice to acknowledge the strikes.
Slice takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

and Slice counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Stevens seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Stevens wants to get back to his feet but Slice is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Stevens can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Slice controls the pace.
Slice looking to pass the guard.
Slice is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Slice controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Stevens will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Slice prevents Stevens from getting back to his feet.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Stevens obliges.

Stevens's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Stevens smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Stevens is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Stevens pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Slice throws a big counter head kick but Stevens avoids it with no problem.
Stevens swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Slice.
Stevens throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Stevens just misses with a punch to the body.

Slice lands a nice looking body kick.
Slice fails with an attempt to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Stevens looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Slice lands a leg kick that knocks Stevens off balance momentarily.

Stevens looking to score a takedown here. Slice is defending well but Stevens drives through and ends up in Slice's guard.

Slice is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Stevens is aware though and is defending well.

Slice is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Slice doesn't manage to clinch there - Stevens circles away.

Slice shoots for a takedown but Stevens saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Slice will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The fighters circle momentarily. Stevens darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Stevens fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Slice is still on wobbly legs! Can Stevens finish him?
Slice takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Stevens has taken the fight to the clinch.
Stevens lands an elbow inside.

Stevens breaks from the clinch.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Stevens! Slice is out on his feet! Stevens rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Slice is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Slice is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 4, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Victor Stevens!
