Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Taco Bueno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitch Roxton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Taco Bueno!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mitch Roxton!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bueno scores with a jab to the head.
Roxton moves out of range as Bueno throws a body kick.
Roxton replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Bueno blocks it well.
Bueno displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Roxton throws out the jab.
Roxton throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bueno looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Roxton scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Roxton feints and as Bueno raises his hands in defense, Roxton changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Bueno looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Roxton seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Bueno wants to sweep here but Roxton controlling him for the moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Roxton takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Roxton can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bueno is looking to escape.
Bueno is looking to get to half guard.
Bueno tries to lock up and control but Roxton gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Let's hope that Roxton has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Roxton throws a nice looking combination but Bueno bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bueno throws a leg kick but Roxton sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Roxton throws a half hearted mid kick.
Roxton scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Bueno blocks a head kick by Roxton.
Roxton is looking to land body kicks.
Bueno looks to land a left hand but Roxton moved out of range nicely.
Roxton throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bueno counters with a nice uppercut.
Bueno sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bueno checks a leg kick.
Bueno moves out of range of the body kick.
Mitch Roxton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bueno blocks a jab.
Bueno slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Roxton swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Bueno counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bueno.

Roxton pushes Bueno off and gets back to his feet.
Bueno tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Roxton misses with a straight right.
Bueno throws a lazy right hand but Roxton sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bueno misses with an uppercut. Roxton saw that one coming.
Roxton throws a leg kick which misses Bueno's front leg but catches the back leg as Bueno tries to avoid it.
Roxton lands a jab to the nose.
Roxton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bueno circles away quickly and effectively.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Roxton walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Bueno catches Roxton with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

As Roxton looks to move away, Bueno throws a big counter combo bu Roxton just gets out of the way.
Nice straight punches there by Bueno. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bueno.

Roxton throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bueno.

Roxton shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bueno manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bueno is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Roxton uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bueno.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Mitch Roxton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Roxton is taking a breather. Bueno says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Bueno throws a hook but Roxton avoids it easily.

Roxton smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Taco Bueno has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Mitch Roxton is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Roxton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Roxton takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Bueno misses with a straight left.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Roxton throws a push kick but Bueno slaps the foot to one side.

Bueno working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Roxton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Roxton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well Roxton has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
