Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daouda Kaho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julio Quanero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quanero has chosen 537 CUBA as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

As Quanero tries to get set, Kaho tries to push him back and clinch up but Quanero manages to avoid the attempt.

Kaho feints and then cracks Quanero's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Quanero down.

Quanero's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Quanero takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kaho tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Julio Quanero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Quanero looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Quanero takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Kaho lands a head kick. Quanero smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Whack! Kaho lands a heavy head kick that drops Quanero. The ref tackles Kaho to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Quanero was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Daouda Kaho!
During a confident post fight interview, Daouda Kaho thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
