The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bgfb changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Presswurst tries to avoid it but Bgfb manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Presswurst to the ground. Presswurst escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Bgfb gets caught napping as Presswurst dives in and scores a takedown. Bgfb manages to retain guard.

Bgfb looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Presswurst is pushing down on Bgfb's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bgfb is fighting to maintain full guard but Presswurst has managed to sneak the leg through.

Presswurst knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bgfb on the ground.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Bgfb escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Presswurst gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Bgfb isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Presswurst stacks Bgfb on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Presswurst!

Bgfb tries to score a power double leg takedown but Presswurst sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bgfb somewhat.

Presswurst is looking to take a break and control but Bgfb is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
