Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregor Clegane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Crown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gregor Clegane is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gregor Clegane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oliver Crown!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clegane rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Crown moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Crown shoots in for a takedown but Clegane shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Crown fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Clegane avoids it really well and circles away.

Crown closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Crown lands in his opponent's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Clegane has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Clegane is on top in guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Clegane is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Crown is defended easily by Clegane.

Gregor Clegane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oliver Crown.

A decent looking cross lands there for Clegane.


It looks like Oliver Crown has been cut.
Clegane connects with a right hand. Crown shakes it off.

Clegane feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Clegane wants to control from the top but Crown keeps moving.
Clegane is looking to work some ground and pound but Crown has wrist control.
Crown has momentary wrist control but Clegane slips an elbow through the middle.
Clegane is working Crown over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Clegane throws a big right hand that misses.
Clegane will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Crown is pulling down on Clegane's head. It's preventing any offense from Clegane, at least for the moment.
Crown not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Clegane postures up and lands a big shot to Crown's brow.
Clegane is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Clegane is trying to control the action in half guard but Crown is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Clegane is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Crown is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Good leg kick by Clegane there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Clegane throws a right and a left that Crown avoids nicely.
Crown has a takedown stuffed.
Crown takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Clegane throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Clegane jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Crown shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Clegane's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Crown's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Crown working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Clegane's head.
Crown postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Clegane trying to keep a closed guard but Crown is proving a slippery customer.
Crown works over Clegane with some ground and pound from guard.

Crown must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Clegane is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Crown is bucking up trying to escape but Clegane cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That has opened up Oliver Crown's cut even more.
A nice elbow there by Clegane.


The cut above Oliver Crown's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Crown is rocked!


Oliver Crown's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Oliver Crown's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Gregor Clegane!
Gregor Clegane seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
