Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ruslan Mstislav Volkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chico Dicko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Ruslan Mstislav Volkov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chico Dicko!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dicko staying out of range there.
Dicko pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Volkov fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Dicko is out of range.
Dicko throws a poor cross that misses
and Volkov counters with a nice body shot.
No joy there for Volkov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Volkov throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dicko uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Volkov.
Dicko is looking to clinch.
Volkov attempts a counter takedown but Dicko avoids it well and moves away.
Dicko throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Volkov has been working on his balance at Sali, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Dicko.
Volkov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dicko was well out of range. Poor timing from Volkov.
Volkov lands with a right hand.
Dicko takes a head kick and keeps coming.
A slow jab from Dicko misses its intended target.
Volkov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dicko looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Volkov trying to control the action but Dicko is working from the bottom.
Volkov is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Dicko looks calm but he's in trouble here. Volkov gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Dicko is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Volkov lets go of the hold and Dicko can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ruslan Mstislav Volkov!
