Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ganja Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Kanley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kanley is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Styx - Renegade. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Ganja Blaze has been cut.
Kanley misses with a combination
and Blaze counters with a body kick that stops Kanley in his tracks momentarily.
Kanley tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Blaze counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Kanley closes the distance and clinches.
Kanley keeps control of Blaze as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Blaze escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kanley has Blaze up against the cage in a clinch.
Blaze could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kanley is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Kanley jumps guard but Blaze turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Blaze is trying to push Kanley away but Kanley has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Kanley swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Blaze escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Blaze counters with a solid body kick.

Blaze is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

and Blaze counters with a body kick that stops Kanley in his tracks momentarily.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Blaze. Kanley shrugs it off though.
Ganja Blaze is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kanley looks for a takedown but Blaze sprawls well.
Blaze jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Ganja Blaze has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Kanley.
Blaze fakes the leg kick and cracks Kanley in the body.
Kanley looks winded!
Blaze throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Blaze thuds his shin into the meat of Kanley's side.
Blaze lands with a kick to the ribs.
Kanley has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Blaze.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kanley crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Blaze - the referee stops the clock and Kanley gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Blaze. Kanley manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Kanley steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Blaze. That one must have hurt.
Blaze lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blaze lands a big head kick that sends Kanley tumbling to the mat! Blaze takes a step backwards and waves Kanley back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Kanley is rocked!
Blaze bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Kanley is still on wobbly legs! Can Blaze finish him?
Crunch! Blaze slams his shin into Kanley's torso.
Blaze throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Blaze lands a big head kick that sends Kanley to the canvas! Blaze follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ganja Blaze!
