Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Medium Hardon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Breeze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Medium Hardon!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ben Breeze!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardon misses with a takedown
and Breeze counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Breeze tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hardon was well out of range. Poor timing from Breeze.
Hardon throws a big counter combination but Breeze scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Medium Hardon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hardon fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Breeze looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Breeze throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Medium Hardon has been cut.
Breeze works Hardon's body with a nice hook.
Hardon throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Hardon sizes up Breeze with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Breeze takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hardon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hardon is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Breeze.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A telegraphed right hand from Hardon misses the target.
Breeze lands a jab to Hardon's midsection.
A big right from Breeze misses.
A slapping leg kick lands for Hardon.
Hardon throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hardon fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Medium Hardon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No joy there for Hardon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Breeze scores with a kick to the body.
Hardon fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
And Breeze tries to counter it with a takedown but Hardon pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Breeze throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hardon's waist but Hardon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Breeze off to one side.
The crowd cheers as Breeze lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hardon doesn't seem phased though.
Breeze misses with a wild body shot.
Hardon fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A chopping leg kick lands by Hardon.
Hardon darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Hardon misses with a left hand
and Breeze counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Hardon down! Breeze is looking to finish but Hardon is intelligently defending himself.
Hardon is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Breeze throwing strikes from guard but Hardon blocks nicely.
Oh Hardon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Breeze throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hardon works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Breeze loads up on a big left hand. Hardon felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Breeze looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Hardon can't hide his disappointment, as Breeze celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ben Breeze! Ben Breeze retains his light heavyweight title!
A very excited looking Ben Breeze made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
