Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boogie Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Selfrid Bergman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Boogie Knight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Selfrid Bergman!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bergman takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Bergman shoots in for a double leg but Knight sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Knight tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Bergman manages to circle out of the way.
Bergman lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Bergman fails with a takedown attempt.
Knight is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Bergman.
Bergman throws a nice outside leg kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Knight finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bergman throws a series of punches but Knight avoids them all with ease.

Bergman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Knight is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Knight stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bergman swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Boogie Knight will probably get the nod.

Bergman gets control of Knight's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bergman will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

That's time! Knight's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Knight has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bergman holds on and takes a little breather.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Bergman avoids a punch combination nicely.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Knight tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bergman was well out of range. Poor timing from Knight.

Bergman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Knight looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Knight is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bergman can do to turn this around?

Bergman goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Knight has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bergman but great work by Knight.

Bergman tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Knight wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Knight advances nicely into full mount.
Bergman is squirming around, avoiding Knight's attempts to control the action.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Boogie Knight.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Knight, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
