Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Conor McCracken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Matthews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCracken comes to the cage accompanied by Rebels Song - Come out and Fight. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Conor McCracken! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sean Matthews! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matthews keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McCracken fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Matthews manages to avoid it. Matthews throws a counter combo. McCracken swings widly with a right hand
and Matthews counters with a thumping low kick. McCracken showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Matthews.
Matthews misses with a straight left. McCracken misses with a few strikes there.
Matthews is looking for the big counter here. A right-left combo lands from Matthews. Matthews throws a hook but McCracken blocks it. Matthews takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Matthews thows a left - swing and a miss! Matthews tries to close the distance and clinch up but McCracken swats him away and circles back towards the center. Matthews scores with a jab. Matthews throws a nice looking combination but McCracken bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McCracken throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Matthews tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. McCracken is in Matthews's guard. McCracken engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Matthews trying to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCracken stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Matthews swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McCracken trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. McCracken has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. McCracken passes Matthews's right leg, so he's now in half guard. McCracken misses with a head shot. Matthews uses the momentum to regain guard. Matthews is controlling McCracken's posture. McCracken landing with the ground and pound. Matthews seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Matthews has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McCracken can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Matthews is pulling down on McCracken's head to control his posture. McCracken loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. McCracken seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Matthews can't keep his opponent in guard - McCracken advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Matthews is refusing to be controlled, as McCracken sits in half guard. McCracken not landing any meaningful shots this time.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Matthews keeping hold of McCracken's head, controlling as best he can. McCracken is trying to control the action in half guard but Matthews is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. McCracken sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. McCracken is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Matthews doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time McCracken. McCracken not landing any meaningful shots this time. McCracken seems to be working for a kimura but Matthews defends the submission attempt. Matthews is trying to get back to full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McCracken not doing much here.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. McCracken prevents Matthews from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Conor McCracken will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
McCracken takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. McCracken works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. McCracken throws out a loose jab but Matthews uses good head movement to avoid it. Matthews misses with a double jab.

McCracken wants to control from the top but Matthews keeps moving. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Matthews holds on and takes a little breather. Matthews keeping moving, preventing McCracken from controlling successfully.

Our sources have told us that McCracken has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. McCracken is looking to score with knees to the body. McCracken tries to break free but Matthews pushes him back against the cage. Matthews displaying some good clinch control by pressing McCracken up against the cage. Matthews lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. A right hook to the body lands for Matthews.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McCracken tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Matthews smiles and moves away.

McCracken steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Matthews. McCracken fails with the takedown. McCracken lands a slapping body shot.

Sean Matthews showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!

McCracken misses with a takedown attempt - Matthews sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fight stays on the outside here - Matthews looks like he's thinking about clinching though. McCracken is looking to wear down Matthews with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. McCracken avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Matthews keeping moving, preventing McCracken from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Matthews pulls McCracken in to control the position. Matthews is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. McCracken wants to control from the top but Matthews keeps moving. Matthews not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Matthews throws a hook but McCracken blocks it. Matthews lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

McCracken ducks under a wild hook from Matthews. Matthews connects with a right hand. McCracken shakes it off. McCracken tries to keep at a distance but Matthews has taken the fight into the clinch. McCracken manages to break the clinch.
Nice defenses there by McCracken. McCracken lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. McCracken shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Matthews but Matthews pushes him off and we're back to square one.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Sean Matthews. I think Matthews has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
