The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doom throws a lazy head kick
and Hanson counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Doom!
Doom is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Doom pushes Hanson away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hanson gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Hanson pivots and extends the arm, Doom falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Hanson! Well done that man!
