The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moraes scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Cook takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Moraes trying to control the position but Cook is working away.
Moraes is putting a hurting on Cook here, landing some big shots from side control.
Cook prevents Moraes from improving position.
Moraes is trying to get an arm triangle but Cook is defending well.
Moraes looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cook is not content to let Moraes control the position.

Moraes thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Moraes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cook keeps working.

A big shot lands for Moraes! That's hurt Cook! Will he recover? Moraes fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
