Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anton Obuhov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marek Weeill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marek Weeill struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Obuhov clinches.
Weeill looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Weeill missing with knees to the body.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Weeill has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Obuhov has picked Weeill up - he's going for a ride! Obuhov dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Obuhov is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Weeill defends it well.
Weeill is staying active underneath Obuhov, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Weeill won't allow Obuhov to pass to mount.
Obuhov wants to take a breather but Weeill is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
