Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Issac Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tamas Gyorko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Issac Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tamas Gyorko!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Sandra Marshall and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gyorko circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gyorko shoots in for a takedown but Frost shows good takedown defense.
Frost closes the distance and clinches up with Gyorko, looking for a takedown. Frost pushes Gyorko against the cage but Gyorko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Frost uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gyorko.
Gyorko closes this distance looking for a takedown but Frost circles away.
Frost is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Gyorko.
Frost blocks a leg kick.
Gyorko shoots in but Frost avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Issac Frost has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tamas Gyorko.
Gyorko throws a leg kick that misses.
Gyorko shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Frost as he jumps to the side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gyorko shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Frost defends it nicely.

Frost feints and as Gyorko raises his hands in defense, Frost changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gyorko tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Gyorko is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Frost trying to control but Gyorko is working from the bottom.
Frost wants to stand but Gyorko is controlling his posture from full guard.
Gyorko preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Gyorko is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Frost is aware though and is defending well.
Frost looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Frost is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Frost tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gyorko manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Frost avoids the body shot from Gyorko.
Gyorko throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Frost drops down looking for a counter takedown but Gyorko sprawls and moves away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Frost clinches with his opponent.

Frost is trying to trip Gyorko. He has hold of a leg but Gyorko is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Frost persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Frost looking to sit in guard and control but Gyorko gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Gyorko controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Frost has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Gyorko is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Frost.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Gyorko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Frost but Frost pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Frost shoots in looking for a takedown. Gyorko tries to sprawl out of it but Frost keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gyorko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Frost forces Gyorko back against the cage and clinches.

Frost breaks from the clinch.
Frost is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gyorko can do to turn this around?
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Frost closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gyorko quickly recovers to half guard.
Gyorko is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Frost wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gyorko keeps working.

Frost is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Frost passes into side control, despite Gyorko's attempt to control the position.
Gyorko wants to get back to his feet but Frost drags him back down.
You can see the frustration on Gyorko's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Gyorko tries to buck Frost off but Frost is having none of it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sloppy strikes there by Frost.

Frost goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Gyorko rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Frost's guard! Nice work there by Gyorko!

Frost has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gyorko can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Gyorko not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Frost is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Gyorko gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Frost tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gyorko smiles and moves away.

Frost stops a takedown attempt from Gyorko.
Gyorko prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Issac Frost. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Frost trying to control the position but instead, Gyorko has worked for underhooks and has pushed Frost into the cage.

Frost breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Frost uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Gyorko shoots in and drives through. Frost sprawls well.

Frost has Gyorko pressed against the cage, preventing Gyorko from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Frost is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Gyorko is defending well for now.
Frost keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Gyorko's efforts to push away.

Frost gets control of Gyorko's arms and successfully pulls guard. Frost will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Frost seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Frost wants to stand and escape but instead Gyorko has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Frost stuffs the takedown attempt from Gyorko. Gyorko gets slowly back to his feet.
Frost feinted there with a counter leg kick.

Frost darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Gyorko wants to control but Frost passes into side.
A lull in the action here as Frost stalls from top position.

Gyorko is looking for a sweep.

And that's the end of the fight!
Issac Frost showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Frost has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
