Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shyttles swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Petersen goes for a double leg but Shyttles avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Shyttles continues to drive forward.
Shyttles is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Petersen closes the distance and clinches.
Shyttles tries to score a body lock takedown but Petersen shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Shyttles wants to take the fight to the mat but Petersen manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Shyttles gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Shyttles is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Shyttles trying to control the position from guard on top but Petersen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Petersen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shyttles looking to sit in guard and control but Petersen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Petersen is posturing up here but Shyttles has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Petersen tries to roll out but it's too tight and Petersen has to tap! Slick submission there by Shyttles!
