Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vitor Valakas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and IB Strokin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strokin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I Be Strokin' kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vitor Valakas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, IB Strokin! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strokin bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Valakas shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Strokin defends it nicely. Strokin now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Strokin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Valakas. Strokin gets caught napping as Valakas dives in and scores a takedown. Strokin manages to retain guard. Strokin keeping moving, preventing Valakas from controlling successfully. Strokin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Valakas scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Valakas trying to control but Strokin is working from the bottom. Valakas working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Strokin's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Valakas wants to pass the guard but Strokin is keeping the position. Valakas working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Valakas with a flurry of punches that miss. Valakas has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valakas throwing strikes but missing. Valakas sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Strokin's guard. Valakas not landing any meaningful shots this time. Strokin pushes Valakas off looking to stand but Valakas dives back in and keeps control.
Valakas thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Strokin's head. Valakas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Valakas not landing any meaningful shots this time. Valakas throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Valakas thows a huge punch but Strokin dodges it nicely.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Strokin is looking to escape. Valakas with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Strokin is refusing to be controlled, as Valakas sits in half guard. Valakas looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Valakas uses his free foot to push down on Strokin's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Strokin. Valakas misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Strokin wants to try and get back to his feet. Valakas wants to control the pace but Strokin is squirming around nicely. Valakas throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Strokin because Valakas loaded up on that one. Valakas lands a couple of good shots and Strokin has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Valakas misses with an elbow to the head. Valakas throwing wild punches that miss their target. A lull in the action here.
Strokin avoids the strikes from Valakas. Valakas punches the canvas rather than the man. Strokin staying busy and making it hard for Valakas to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Even with his hooks in, Valakas manages to miss with strikes from the back. Valakas thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Valakas somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Valakas's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Valakas struggling to land strikes to the head as Strokin covers up. Valakas misses with punches from the back. Valakas missing with strikes from the back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Valakas is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Valakas thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Valakas throwing sloppy strikes. Strokin covering up well under a series of strikes from Valakas. Valakas punishes Strokin with strikes from the back mount. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Valakas misses with a punch to the head. Strokin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Valakas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Valakas trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vitor Valakas dominated that round. That's time! Valakas's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Strokin scores with a hook to the body. Valakas takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Valakas looks for a takedown but Strokin sprawls well. Strokin misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Valakas.
A jab from Strokin does it's job there. Valakas fails to land the takedown. Strokin swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Strokin throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Valakas changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Strokin works Valakas's body with a nice hook. Valakas misses with an uppercut. Strokin throws a shot from downtown. Valakas moves away and avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Valakas slips a straight right by Strokin. Valakas attempts a counter takedown but Strokin avoids it well and moves away. Valakas misses with a takedown letting Strokin counter with a right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vitor Valakas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Strokin connects with a single shot there.
Valakas is rocked! Valakas drops his hands momentarily. Strokin doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Valakas staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Valakas doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). IB Strokin! Our winner, IB Strokin, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
