Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ultra Winner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Winner Five! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winner will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Winner closes the distance and clinches up with Five, looking for a takedown. Winner pushes Five against the cage but Five circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Five misses with an attempted mid kick.
Five fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Winner. Winner misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ultra Winner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Five fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Winner is out of range. Five tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Winner was well out of range. Poor timing from Five. Five feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Winner's calf. Winner looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Five is fending him off so far but Winner persists. Nope, Five circles away and we're back to standing. Winner tries to score a power double leg takedown but Five sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Winner somewhat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Winner shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Five as he avoids it easily. Five tries to counter with a clinch but Winner shakes him off and moves away. Five throws a hook to the side of Winner's head but Winner sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Five lands a jab to the head.
Winner shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Five pinned against the cage. Five gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Winner shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Five counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Winner has a takedown stuffed. Winner is breathing heavily. Five is looking to chop away at Winner's legs. Five displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Winner. Five slaps away a takedown attempt from Winner, before circling back to the center of the mat. Five scoring well with a low kick there.
A good leg kick by Five. Five throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Winner closes this distance looking for a takedown but Five circles away. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Winner crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Five - the referee stops the clock and Winner gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Five. Winner manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Five throws a wild body kick that Winner sees coming a mile off. Five connects with a leg kick. Winner looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Winner moves out of range as Five throws a body kick.
It looked like Winner wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. A nice inside leg kick there by Five. That's going to slow Winner down. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Five tries a head kick but it misses.

Five appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Five lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Winner uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Five.
Five connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Five lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Ultra Winner has been cut. Five throws a quick inside leg kick. Winner doesn't succeed with the takedown and Five counters by moving into the clinch. Five breaks from the clinch.
Winner looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Five is fending him off so far but Winner persists. Nope, Five circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Five lands a brutal head kick. Winner looks out on his feet and Five throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
