Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James McKenna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Dinkledorff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McKenna might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to scotland the brave. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, James McKenna! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ray Dinkledorff! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dinkledorff connects with a body shot that sends McKenna's belly button to the back. Dinkledorff throws a series of punches but McKenna moves out of range. Dinkledorff looks to land a combination. McKenna sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dinkledorff, as that shot connected.
Dinkledorff misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McKenna shoots in looking for a takedown but Dinkledorff manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McKenna's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Dinkledorff appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. McKenna is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dinkledorff sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Dinkledorff tries to clinch there but McKenna circles away.
Dinkledorff has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Dinkledorff cracks McKenna with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Dinkledorff instigates a clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dinkledorff manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. McKenna won't allow Dinkledorff to sweep him here. Dinkledorff wants to stand but McKenna is controlling the position. McKenna stays in close to Dinkledorff's body and controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. McKenna advances position into side control! Dinkledorff is trying to control McKenna's posture but McKenna avoids it. McKenna passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Dinkledorff! McKenna sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Dinkledorff wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by McKenna.
McKenna tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Dinkledorff has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dinkledorff prevents McKenna from getting a body triangle. McKenna patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? McKenna looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. McKenna is hanging on to Dinkledorff's back as he tries to escape.
Dinkledorff fending off the submission attempt from McKenna. McKenna is working for a rear naked choke. Dinkledorff is not defending it well and McKenna has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Dinkledorff refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Dinkledorff's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). James McKenna! James McKenna very nearly forgot to thank Sportsmanship Ltd. amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
