Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chan-Sung Jung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kauko Partio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jung kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Waiting Room. Partio is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by One will stand, one will fall. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Partio counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Jung is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Partio not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Partio missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Partio is looking to stall here but Jung recovers full guard.

Partio looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jung with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Jung is not content to let Partio control the position.
Jung is pressing down on Partio's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jung utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Jung wants to sweep here but Partio controlling him for the moment.
Partio postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Jung wants to hit a switch here but Partio passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Jung there!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jung regains half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Partio thows a huge punch but Jung dodges it nicely.
Jung tries to get to full guard but Partio has control of the leg.
Partio trying to advance position but Jung counters by regaining guard.
Partio landing some decent shots from guard.
Partio wants to pass the guard but Jung is keeping the position.

Jung keeping moving, preventing Partio from controlling successfully.
Jung is looking to sweep but instead, Partio has passed into half guard.
Jung is trying to get back to full guard.
Partio lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Jung is pressing down on Partio's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jung is on top in guard.

Jung avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Partio preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Jung scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Jung is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Partio is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Partio has escaped and now he's on top!

A close round but Kauko Partio will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Jung keeps the fight on the outside.
Jung fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jung connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Partio throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Partio misses with a head kick.
Jung was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Jung slips a jab from Partio.
Jung shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Partio has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Jung connects with an inside leg kick.
Nice defenses there by Partio.
A head kick misses from Partio.
Partio shoots in looking for a takedown. Jung tries to sprawl out of it but Partio keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jung manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Partio throws a hook but Jung avoids it easily.
Jung connects with the punch.
Jung with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Jung misses with a few strikes there.
Partio tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Jung looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Partio is fending him off so far but Jung persists. Nope, Partio circles away and we're back to standing.

We've been hearing that Jung has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Jung is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Jung lands a couple of good shots and Partio has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Partio has hold of Jung's leg, trying to break free but it's let Jung lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Partio is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Jung throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.
