Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Coleman Bright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicko Shoota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Coleman Bright! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nicko Shoota! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shoota misses with a few strikes there.
Bright is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Shoota. Shoota lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Shoota.
It looks like Coleman Bright has been cut. Shoota clinches. Bright tries a body shot but Shoota blocks it.
Bright drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A short right from Shoota on the inside. Shoota decides to pull guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bright loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Bright trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Shoota stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bright swivels though and keeps the full guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Shoota is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Bright looks for a takedown but Shoota sprawls well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bright tries to keep at a distance but Shoota has taken the fight into the clinch. Shoota lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Bright is not content to let Shoota control the position. Shoota wants to pass the guard but Bright is defending well. Shoota is stalling here. Bright is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Shoota seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Bright has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shoota avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Bright. Bright works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Shoota is looking to reverse the position. The referee asks Bright politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Bright prefers to stall for the moment though. Shoota can't do much from the bottom here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bright looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Shoota is avoiding damage well.

Bright has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bright keeping moving, preventing Shoota from controlling successfully. Shoota tries to free his leg and advance position but Bright is retaining full guard.

Bright raining down hammerfists from mount. Bright pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Shoota tries to reverse the position but Bright maintains control. Bright postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Shoota looks a forlorn figure.

Bright pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bright unloading with bombs! Bright really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bright with the ground and pound from mount. Shoota is looking to get to half guard. Shoota is breathing heavily. Bright lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bright landing strikes from the mount and Shoota is in trouble! Bright scores with a couple of good head shots there.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bright connects with a nice short shot to Shoota's temple.
