Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between AJ Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Cerrone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michal Cerrone will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, AJ Rage! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michal Cerrone! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cerrone misses with the combination.
Rage keeps the fight on the outside. Cerrone tries to keep at a distance but Rage has taken the fight into the clinch. Cerrone can't break the clinch.
Cerrone is trying to break the clinch but Rage is controlling him. Rage decides to pull guard. Rage trying to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rage manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Rage manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Rage is adopting a defensive guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cerrone tries to stand but Rage is controlling from the bottom. Rage has his hands on Cerrone's head, controlling the position. Rage is looking to stand up but Cerrone isn't so interested in that idea. Cerrone must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Rage managing to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Rage kicks Cerrone off and gets to his feet. Rage darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Cerrone pushes Rage off looking to stand but Rage dives back in and keeps control.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rage in particular looking to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cerrone won't allow Rage to pass to mount. Rage sitting and controlling from the half guard. Cerrone tries to kick Rage off but Rage keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Rage slows the pace down in half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Rage thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Cerrone's head. Rage passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Cerrone! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rage has hold of Cerrone's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Cerrone manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Rage looking to control but Cerrone is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Rage dominating with strikes here. Rage is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Cerrone has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rage looking to finish with strikes here!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
AJ Rage dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Rage avoids the body shot from Cerrone.
Rage throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Rage changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cerrone looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Rage cracks Cerrone with a big elbow. Cerrone taking a bit of punishment here - Rage scoring with strikes. Cerrone is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Rage asserts his dominance and retains side control. Cerrone being controlled for a moment. Cerrone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rage. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rage stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cerrone tries to clinch up but Rage circles away and keeps his distance. Rage rushes Cerrone and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Cerrone can't break the clinch.
Rage keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Cerrone's efforts to push away. Cerrone drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rage gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Rage drags the fight down to the ground.
Rage not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rage has his foot on Cerrone's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cerrone works his way back into a safe position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rage trying to keep a closed guard but Cerrone is proving a slippery customer.
Rage pulls Cerrone in close to his closed guard and prevents Cerrone from doing any damage or advancing position. Rage bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cerrone's guard. Rage seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Rage forces his way into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rage perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Cerrone looks like he's trying to stand up.
Nice strikes from Rage there. Rage passes to full mount! Rage sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Cerrone is breathing heavily. Cerrone really wants to buck Rage off and get back to his feet. Rage sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cerrone has left one of his arms exposed and Rage doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Cerrone screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
